Welcome to the Kites page, lots of kids love playing with kites and they
are lots of fun controlling in windy conditions.
Most kites are very simple although getting them up in the air can be more
of a challenge if you are not used to flying a kite although this is part
of the initial fun. Most kites have two lines so that you can control the
kite in the air and this also enables the child to do tricks and fancy manoeuvres.
There are also power kites that you can buy but these are not meant for use
like a standard kite. The power kites are designed to be used with a board
or buggy to provide propulsion for the user and this is generally considered
an extreme sport and not something that most children should do if they are
not familiar with the practice.
