Welcome to the Water Slides page, if your kids think that a paddling pool
is the most fun that you can have outdoors with water then they are going
to love a water slide!
A water slide is a slide that has a slippery surface and water running down
it. So if a child runs and then slides they will slide all of the way down
the water slide, they are usually flat on the ground and used on grass. They
have to be connected to the water supply but this is usually a simple hose
and they also often come with boards so that the kids can slide down the
water slide on a board for added safety.
There are also other cool features to look out for when you buy a water slide,
some are wide enough for two kids to slide down at the same time and so this
offers some incredibly fun water slide racing! Many water slides also have
a pool at the end
so that the child will slide into the pool when they reach the end of the
actual slide and some even have an elevated start and a huge downhill water
slide which is very cool indeed.
The length of the water slide is important as this dictates how far the children
can slide and the further the better. The water slides with a pool are also
very useful as they help to contain some of the water, remember that using
a water slide on the lawn will involve allot of water being splashed around
so make sure that the water can run away easily although allot will evaporate
in the summer.
There are cheap water slides that are small and huge water slides that are
not so cheap and so it all depends on what you want to spend, they are all
fun but the larger ones are definitely more fun and the ones that offer water
slide racing or an incline are very cool indeed.
